+ How do you charge for photography ?
Photography is charged either at an hourly rate, half-day rate or full day rate. The minimum charge is £150.
+ Do you charge VAT ?
Yes, I am VAT registered. All quotes and invoices will display the VAT.
+ Do you charge for travel ?
There is a mileage rate of 45 pence from post code PE276AB. For local work this is waived.
+ How are my photos delivered ?
Digital files are uploaded to an online gallery for viewing and downloading. This can be password protected.
+ When can I receive my photos ?
Post-production and uploading of images can take between 1 to 3 days. If you require same day service please request this at time of booking.
+ Who owns the copyright of the photos you produce ?
Unauthorised use of the Work is an infringement of the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988. Photos are the intellectual property of Alan Bennett of Media Imaging Solutions but are licensed for you to use for PR and advertising purposes throughout the world in print and online at any time in the future. Please note that Images are not to be given or sold to third parties. Photos are sometimes used on my social media channels and /or shown on my website for promotional purposes.
+ Are you fully insured to carry out location photography ?
I have public liabilty insurance set at 5 million and professional indemnity insurance set at £100,000.
+ Do you have a studio we can come to ?
I work exclusively on location and consequently own and transport mobile studio equipment to your place of work.
+ I am organising an event and would like to use your photos for social media during the day. Is that possible ?
Yes, I can set-up an online gallery and regularly upload images to it. You or your media team can access this at anytime. This is great for sending out a tweet about a key note speaker, for example, while they are still making their speech.
+ Our office is very dark. It may be too difficult to get nice photos ?
I have no issues with badly lit rooms because I bring studio lighting and backgrounds.
